Peer Review Process – Journal of Sports Exercise Science International (SESI)

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial evaluation by the Chief Editors, Associate Editors, and/or Section Editors to determine their alignment with the editorial scope of the Journal of Sports Exercise Science International (SESI) and their adherence to the formal submission requirements outlined in the authors' guidelines.

Manuscripts that do not meet these formal requirements will be returned to the authors for revision, ensuring compliance with the journal's submission standards. Articles that fall outside the journal’s scope and objectives will be declined for publication.

The entire review process is conducted using the Open Journal System (OJS) software, ensuring secure, automated, and auditable electronic records of all interactions. This transparent system facilitates constructive feedback, allowing for the improvement of manuscripts deemed suitable for publication.
